It's been a while since I updated this... maybe cuz I didn't have the time.. or maybe cuz some of the events of the past few months didn't yet sink in... I dunno.. I just thought it's about time...

First of all, remember my last journal entry when I said I had the feeling something bad is going to happen, well, it did... My grandfather, whom I have been living with for the past 20+ years passed away on the 16th of June... just one day before I was done with my finals.. so you can imagine how that felt like, not being able to mourn him properly, not having time to cry for a little bit... surprisingly enough I did pass (and God only knows how)... the real problem is I can still see him all over the place, hear him walking in after a day at the club, I still walk into his room to say hello after I come back home, I miss him so much it's driving me insane...

Anyways, on the lighter note.. I've been on a fishing trip for 5 days in the Red Sea (some place called Hamata around 860 kilometers from where I live in Cairo) and it was flipping awesome... we came back with around 370 Kgs of assorted fish, including Sharks, Barracudas, Tunas and the highlight of our week A MASSIVE SAILFISH!!! for those of you who are not fish-buffs, I would just like you to know that it's a bloody rare fish, and it's friggin' hard to reel in as well...

yeah.. those've been the highlights of my summer so far... apart from the usual trips to the beach every other weekend that's about it...

errmmm... yeah.. I'm done here..
